An obituary to the immortal from the lesser mortal

Smiling is infectious,
you can catch it like a flu

Someone started smiling at me
and I started smiling too

With an actual 'million dollar smile' Dr. Kalam symbolised the true innocence expected of a scientist at heart. Unfazed by all the attention he loved nothing else but the pursuit of scientific beliefs. And he promoted them in the society effortlessly. Probably, that is why, Allah gave him his 'Jannat' at the right place.

Long back, as a kid, I was in Mysore to present my Science Project. The National Children Science Congress air was too heavy with the chants of 'His excellency President APJ Abdul Kalam'.It was a delight to know a President getting face to face with the scientific community. Though it did come as a surprise for the common political scene of Bharat.

As years passed by it came to me as a sanatan satya that Respected Kalam Sir was the noblest of souls humanity could ever be blessed with. I remember reading his interview wherein he said that making some physical aids for the 'differently abled' brought him 'Anand'. And let me add the fact that the 'Wings of Fire' brought him no less Nirvana. But quite usual to the pursuit of a Yogi, Dr. Kalam never fell complacent. He would keep taking new projects like Igniting Young Minds and infact the entire nation as a President. If one wonders how come a scientist in the world of Poli-tricks, may please give me a chance to quote Swami Vivekanand. He said it is us humans who have drawn the boundaries between Arts, Sciences and various fields. Kalam Sir must have taken it as POLITICAL SCIENCE.

If one was to limit Kalam Sir's personality adjectives would fall short. For he diminished the boundaries between a kid and elderly, between scientist and politician, between Muslim and Hindu, between war and peace..........and I wonder between heaven and earth. For a simple reason, he lived on earth as if there were no Kalyug
